The Greatest
   15 Minutes, United Kingdom 2026
       Not yet released

From within a London townhouse, an older man and his young lover quarrel under the relentless ping of an ex’s incoming texts. Will love prevail?

A contemporary satire inspired by the work of Reuben Östlund and Olivier Assayas, the film follows the idea that ‘the greatest’ thing is often the thing we cannot have. The heightened tone and farcical twists and turns are set off against the flat, polite dialogue as a way of opening up the hidden world of feeling and fantasy, and bringing it into conversation with social reality.

The low-budget production led to a focus on the essentials: two people, one bedroom, and a clear power dynamic. This economy became part of the film’s language, allowing tension and longing to emerge through proximity and performance rather than big action, like a slow dance.
